I have short, and very wide feet around the toe span. I bought these boots because I like a comfortable wear, but stylish shoe.So the pros:-1) The heel height is manageable .2) There is elasticised gussets on the side to assist with wider calves.3) The fabric is a softer patent; not that super stiff mess with your vessels PU material.4) The heel is quite solid so you will feel secure that it will not break if your more solidly built (I’m a solid 5’11” hour glass, pear shaped lady with a 24 pants and 18/20 top).The cons:-1) The sole is kind of slippery. I made the mistake of wearing these shoes down a steep staircase and felt like my footing wasn’t sure.2) The fit is more akin to wide than extra-wide. Again very wide feet.Overall the shoe is nice and will work for day to day activities. I probably won’t dance in these shoes; but a seated event with minimal to moderate movement is fine.Love at first sight takes me back in time so despite the reviews warnings l took the plunge and ordered my normal 9-1/2 W, for an event. The boots arrived much sooner then the estimated arrival date which was a plus but the unboxing I would rate at a 2 ⭐️ because the patten leather was a crinkled texture not a smooth one like it appeared to be online. Then came the big moment! The Try on Test and baby when I say this wide fitted like an narrow that had my feet hurting instantly that’s what I mean. I am sending them back and being charged $9.99 to return them??Very pretty and comfortable! Got a lot of compliments! Love them!
