The flowers detract from a wide foot and my bunion fits right into one of the cutouts so there is no pressure and the shoes are super comfortable. I usually wear 10W, or even extra wide. But I bought the blue ones last summer and my foot falls out because they are kind of big. So this year I bought the white ones in a half size smaller and they fit much better. I get compliments when I wear them. I would order these again in other colors and I recommend them for those that struggle with very wide feet.
