I wear a size 12 4E in shoes. The size 12 2E fit perfectly. They are a little large. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I didn't need any break in time. The flex spot in the back for your heel is a really clever thing. It does make it easier to get my feet in. My first pair of cowboy boots were 1/2 the price but never were comfortable. These are worth the price.
