I am glad I found these boots! I have a part-time job where I am on my feet for 8 or more hours at a time on concrete. I am required to wear professional clothing, but I prefer skirts over pants. During the winter I need a good flat, non skid sole knee high boot to keep my legs from freezing, but I have found it difficult to find real leather wide calf boots with perfectly flat soles and good cushioning inside. I wore these for the first during an almost 9 hour shift, and they were great! The inside is very soft. The arch support was fine for me, but if you have any other foot issues, you may need to add something. The only thing I don't like about them so far is the back zipper. It is a bit more difficult to get up than other boots I have with side zippers. The calf was still a bit snug, but the elastic around the top helped me get them zipped, and I'm sure they will stretch more with wear. The leather is beautiful and soft.
