These boots look great with jeans, shorts or a dress. Really comfortable. I've gotten some great compliments.Perfect. I have these boots in every color!!Overall for less than 50 dollars, I decided to keep them.But they had several negatives that some were mentioned by other people and a couple I found. I also found a couple of things I liked.Pro,The boot is wide in the foot, and yes I bought wide but a lot of times that doesn't mean 'wide'.The tread is deep, so I was comfortable walking through freshly fallen snow with out slipping.It's a tall boot so able to tuck a pant inside it w/o the pant falling out.The boot itself looks good, stylish with either a jean or business casual pant.Con'sJust because it's wide foot, doesn't mean I have wide ankles or calves. The boot itself is really wide at the ankle and calf. The laces are pulled as tight as possible and still lots a space. No support in the ankle area because they are so wide.The boot itself is very stiff, so when I walk the front bends and cuts into the top of my foot. I'm hoping as the boot is warn, the fake leather will break down and bend more.The material the boot is made out of scuffs very easily, after the second day of wearing, and not going anywhere other than walking the complexes I live in, a scuff happened on the outside of the toe area. Not even sure how it happened. But it won't buff out..Nothing to dislike . wife loves themFirst, thank you to the seller for shipping my boots sooner than what was posted on the page. I thought I'd be waiting awhile. I wanted to post pictures of the boots so you can have an idea what it looks like on someone, but Amazon is having technical issues. I ordered the dark brown military style lace up boots. I went up 1/2 a size like I read from other comments. I'm glad I did! I think my regular 7 might have been a little snug, but I would have worn the snot out of them anyway. I also ordered the plain black mid calf boots w/ the braid accent and it was a good fit. The toe box area might be a bit snug but not unbearable and I'm sure i'll break into them. Overall I give both pairs 5 stars. I was not a disappointed.I love these boots. They fit perfectly, no need to break them in. I'm not completely sold on Comfortview because I've had issues with a pair of espadrilles I purchased from them this year. But so far, these boots are wonderful. Wide enough, comfortable inside and I wore the last pair until the insoles started to fall apart. Time for new boots. And this, I purchased these. I'd buy them again...and I would try another manufacturer if I saw them. We'll see Comfortview, how these boots hold up...hopefully they won't come apart like those espadrilles...had to sew and glue those bad boys.These boots kill the bottom of my feet. Off to Goodwill.I ordered a 8 1/2 WW and they are not WW. When compared to my other wide shoes that I own I would say they are regular width.
