New Balance Men's Minimus LX Trail Running Shoes - Wide Width (D) for Hiking & Outdoor Adventures

I like these shoes quite a bit. They are probably the best golf shoes I've owned but I can still only give them three stars because they aren't as comfortable as I had hoped. No issues with arch support (I've had issues in the past with other shoes so this is good). I wore them for 54 holes of golf over a 3 day weekend (riding) and I have no blisters or other discomfort other than a little tenderness at the top of my feet. I can't say I really tested the waterproofing. It was pretty dry. The grip was just fine but I don't expect that the "spikes" will last more than one season and they are not replaceable. Overall, I was hoping for a bit more at this price point ($130).I ordered these shoes because I am a fan of New Balance - they make great running shoes so I knew they would do the same with their golf shoes. I was not disappointed! Based on other reviews, I did order 1/2 size larger than normal and that turned out to be the right thing to do. The Minimus LX is a light shoe but with lots of stability and a large toe box which fits my wide foot without going to a wide shoe. I play three days a week and do a lot of walking on the course and these shoes are perfect. Out of the box I spent an hour on the range, then played 18 the next day and they were broken in and ready for the rest of the summer.Very comfortable right out of the box. The on-line sizing questions put me in a 1/2 size larger than my usual size. This confirmed what many other reviewers stated. Seems like a great value so far.The golf shoes are fantastic. i only gave an "I like it" because oneof the shoes did not break in properly still a bit stiff.I walk every week in my golf league and at the end of the round i now am pain free !!sorry to see this golf shoe didn't come in widths like their tennis shoes. I have a wide foot with a narrow heal. in order to get the width I have to get 1/2 size longer but then the heel slips. I love the looks of the shoe so i'll have to wear much thicker socks.Nice shoes except the size runs about a half size smallI returned the 9.5 for a size 10 and have been pleased so far (three rounds)Similar to my Truelinkswear but much more cushion. They do run a size small... I ordered my usual size 10US... Not even close.. Returned for an 11.. Perfect. Would give 5 stars if not for the large size discrepancy..Good thing I read the posted comments about these shoes before I bought them because they recomended getting 1/2 size larger. That made all the difference, these are the most comfortable golf shoes that I have ever had. They are also superlite.With these shoes I was able to walk 18 holes with no blisters or pain in my feet, first time ever. Shoes are not even broken in yet and they feel great.
