So I must admit, I've had these shoes in my cart for a long time and just couldn't bring myself to buy them. Looking at the photo of the black ones, the lining at the top has white on it if you zoom in (which makes it look poorly made). After purchasing several other pairs on Amazon and sending them back, I decided to go ahead and try these. I'm glad I did! The white you see in the photo isn't thread or poorly sewn edges showing through — the black around the top of the shoe is shiny black, so that "white" in the photo is just a glare. These are nice, practical shoes and I plan on wearing them for work. They're a tad bit stiff, but I also wasn't expecting them to be made out of expensive material, either. They move just fine when you walk and don't cut into your heels. For the price, they're just fine!
